The SMC ZXPE5 is an all-in-one electric vacuum gripper that combines vacuum pump, vent valve, pressure sensor, and suction cup in a single compact assembly weighing 556 grams.
Designed for UR3e, UR5e, UR10e, and UR16e collaborative robots, this UR-certified end effector operates without external compressed air and delivers up to 5 N of gripping force.
The unit connects via M8 connector for straightforward installation and mounts to an ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 flange, allowing tool changes with two clamp screws.
Three selectable power modes optimize energy consumption based on application requirements, while a 360-degree status indicator and built-in diagnostics provide real-time process visibility.
The ZXPE5 accepts a range of suction cup configurations, including flat, ribbed, bellows, thin, and multi-bellows geometries in diameters from 8 mm to 32 mm, with material options spanning NBR, silicone, FKM, and urethane to suit different workpiece surfaces.
Maximum ambient operating temperature is 40°C.
