The SMC ZXPE5A011P-25BN-CE is an all-in-one electric vacuum gripper that combines vacuum pump, vent valve, pressure sensor and suction cup in a single unit weighing 0.556 kg.
Designed specifically for UR-certified integration with Universal Robots models UR3e, UR5e, UR10e and UR16e (PNP configuration), it connects via M8 connector for plug-and-play installation.
The unit delivers up to 5 N of gripping force and operates in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
Three selectable power-optimized modes provide operational flexibility, while a 360-degree status indicator and built-in diagnostics support real-time process monitoring.
The ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 flange interface enables rapid tool changes using two clamp screws.
Because vacuum generation occurs internally, the ZXPE5 eliminates external compressed air supply and reduces pneumatic tubing, making it suitable for applications with limited routing space.
The gripper accommodates multiple suction cup configurations across diameters from 8 mm to 32 mm, including flat, ribbed, bellows, thin and multi-bellows geometries, available in NBR, silicone, FKM and urethane materials.
This range supports handling of flexible materials, uneven surfaces and varied workpiece types.
