The SMC ZXP-X1 is a plug-and-play vacuum gripper that consolidates vacuum generation, control valves, pressure sensing, and suction pad into a single lightweight assembly for collaborative robots.
Operating on a single compressed-air supply via one pneumatic tube and an M8 electrical connection, the unit delivers up to −84 kPa vacuum pressure and 17 L/min suction flow with a maximum work load capacity of 7 kg.
The gripper features modular suction pad design, allowing selection of pad size, material, and geometry to suit handling requirements for flat, curved, porous, or delicate workpieces.
This configurability supports diverse pick-and-place operations in packaging, lightweight assembly, laboratory automation, and flexible small-parts handling.
Mounting follows ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 standards, enabling direct installation on Universal Robots and other collaborative robot platforms that use this interface.
