The SMC ZXP-X1 is a plug-and-play vacuum gripper that consolidates a vacuum ejector, air supply and release valves, pressure sensor, and suction pad into a single lightweight assembly weighing 0.84 kg.
Designed for collaborative robot applications, the unit simplifies pneumatic connections by operating with a single compressed-air tube and an M8 electrical connection.
The gripper delivers a maximum vacuum pressure of −84 kPa and suction flow up to 17 L/min, handling workloads up to 7 kg across pick-and-place operations.
Its modular suction pad design permits configuration by pad size, material, and shape to suit flat, curved, porous, or delicate surfaces.
The ZXP-X1 conforms to ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 mounting standards, enabling direct installation on Universal Robots and other cobot platforms that support the specification.
