The SMC ZXP-X1 is a fully integrated vacuum gripper unit that combines an ejector, supply and release valves, pressure sensor, and suction pads into a single compact module.
It simplifies installation by requiring only one compressed-air tube and one M8 connector, reducing setup time and wiring complexity on collaborative robots.
The unit delivers −84 kPa vacuum pressure and 17 L/min suction flow, with a maximum work load capacity of up to 7 kg.
The modular pad system offers flexibility in pad diameter, geometry, and material selection, including flat, bellows, or thin-flat shapes available in silicone, NBR, or urethane to accommodate flat, curved, porous, or delicate surfaces.
The gripper conforms to ISO 9409‑1‑50‑4‑M6 mounting standards and is compatible with major cobot brands including Universal Robots, Omron/Techman, FANUC, and Yaskawa.
Suitable applications include compact pick-and-place automation, packaging, electronics assembly, laboratory processes, and flexible small-parts handling in collaborative environments.
