SMC MHM | magnetic cobot gripper | for UR & Fanuc

SMC

$2,095.00

Pneumatic magnetic gripper designed for collaborative robots, featuring integrated solenoid valve and maintaining hold during air supply interruption.

The SMC MHM-25D-X7400A-CRX is a pneumatic magnetic gripper designed for collaborative robot applications requiring secure handling of ferrous workpieces.

It delivers up to 200 N of gripping force and is rated for workpieces up to 10 kg, maintaining magnetic hold even when air supply is interrupted to ensure process continuity and safety.

The unit integrates a solenoid valve, auto switch, and speed-adjustment mechanism into a compact 0.59 kg package, simplifying installation with a single air supply tube and M8/M12 electrical connection.

The gripper mounts according to ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 standard and is compatible with Universal Robots and FANUC collaborative robot platforms, as well as Yaskawa, Omron/Techman, and Mitsubishi systems.

This gripper is suited to handling metallic parts with holes, uneven surfaces, or irregular contours where vacuum or mechanical grippers may not achieve reliable contact.

Typical applications include sheet-metal handling, machine tending, and palletizing of metal components.

Maximum ambient operating temperature is 50°C.

Magnetic force is field-adjustable to match workpiece requirements.

  • Holds firm through air loss — magnetic grip, integrated valve
  • Holds through air loss — magnetic grip stays put
  • All-in-one: valve, switch, speed control in 0.59 kg
  • Tune the pull — field-adjustable magnetic force
  • Grabs holey, uneven metal parts vacuum grippers miss
  • Grips ferrous parts securely — up to 200 N
  • Lifts heavier metal — rated to 10 kg
  • Fits your fleet — UR, FANUC, Yaskawa, Omron, Mitsubishi
It is compatible with Universal Robots and FANUC collaborative robot platforms, as well as Yaskawa, Omron/Techman, and Mitsubishi systems.
It delivers up to 200 N of gripping force and is rated for workpieces up to 10 kg.
Yes, it maintains magnetic hold even when the air supply is interrupted, supporting process continuity and safety.
It uses an ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 mounting interface with a single air supply tube and an M8/M12 electrical connection.
It handles ferrous metallic parts with holes, uneven surfaces, or irregular contours where vacuum or mechanical grippers may not achieve reliable contact.
The magnetic force is field-adjustable to match workpiece requirements, and the gripper weighs 0.59 kg with an integrated solenoid valve, auto switch, and speed-adjustment mechanism.

Magnetic cobot gripper vs vacuum or mechanical grippers:

Choose this for ferrous workpieces when weighing a magnetic gripper against vacuum or mechanical options.

  • For ferrous parts with holes or uneven surfaces, the magnetic grip holds where vacuum or mechanical contact is unreliable.
  • For air supply interruptions, the magnetic hold stays engaged to support continuity and safety.
  • For mixed part families, adjustable magnetic force matches the workpiece.
  • For quick installs in tight cells, the compact unit integrates valve, auto switch, and speed control with one air tube and M8/M12 connection.
  • For sheet-metal handling, machine tending, and palletizing up to 10 kg, the 200 N grip secures ferrous parts.
  • For UR, FANUC, Yaskawa, Omron, or Mitsubishi cobots, the ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 interface simplifies mounting.
