ReBeL Cobot incl. seventh axis | 7 DOF | 1500mm | 2kg
igus®
This integrated system pairs a ReBeL cobot with a drylin ZLW-20200 belt-driven linear axis, delivering 7 degrees of freedom, 3,000 mm stroke, and extended reach up to 5,800 mm with 2 kg payload capacity.
The ReBeL cobot with seventh axis combines a ReBeL collaborative robot (available in 4, 5, or 6 DOF configurations) with a drylin ZLW-20200 belt-driven linear axis, creating a 7 DOF system.
The linear axis provides up to 3,000 mm of stroke, extending total system reach to 5,800 mm depending on configuration.
The system maintains a 2 kg maximum payload and delivers 1.5 mm repeatability.
The entire system operates through igus Robot Control software, which connects to the seventh axis via direct CAN bus integration.
The linear axis functions as a synchronized external axis, enabling simultaneous coordinated motion of both the robot and the linear axis across unlimited positions.
Communication protocols include Modbus TCP/IP, ROS, CANopen, and digital I/Os.
Control software is provided at no additional cost.
The drylin belt-driven axis uses tribologically optimized plastic components that require no lubrication, supporting both horizontal and overhead mounting orientations.
Typical applications include pick and place operations, quality inspection tasks, machine tending, and handling scenarios requiring access to large parts or multiple work stations.
The system is suited for small and medium enterprises across manufacturing, logistics, and laboratory automation environments.
