Magiclab - Quadruped Robot MagicDog
MagicLab Robot Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.
The MagicDog Basic is a 13-DOF quadruped robot with a 10 kg payload capacity, 4K camera, and intelligent following capabilities. Equipped with low-noise, high-torque motors delivering up to 37.5 Nm of joint torque.
The MagicDog Basic is a quadruped robot platform from MagicLab Robot Technology featuring 13 degrees of freedom and a maximum payload capacity of 10 kg.
Weighing 17 kg, the unit employs low-noise motors that deliver up to 37.5 Nm of joint torque, enabling the execution of more than 30 programmed movements including backflips, moonwalks, handshakes, and stretches.
The robot integrates multiple perception systems: a single-line LiDAR, binocular camera, and RealSense technology work together to identify seven categories of obstacles.
This sensor suite supports active terrain adaptation, allowing the platform to traverse slopes and uneven surfaces such as gravel roads.
The unit can climb obstacles up to 15 cm high and negotiate slopes up to 40 degrees.
A 4K HD camera mounted in the head provides one-click photo and video capture from the robot's perspective.
The platform features intelligent following functionality using a TOP-DOWN detection method for target recognition and tracking.
A depth camera supplies 3D coordinate data, enabling dynamic speed adjustment during following operations.
The MagicDog Basic is suited for applications requiring mobile inspection, remote monitoring, or research and development work in quadruped locomotion and autonomous navigation.
