Linear motion module designed to expand the working envelope of Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10, and UR16 cobots with travel lengths up to 3000 mm.
This igus 7th axis linear motion system provides extended reach for Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10, and UR16 collaborative robots, enabling up to four times greater working space coverage.
The 2,000 mm travel length unit operates at speeds up to 0.3 m/s with a repeat accuracy of ±0.3 mm, suitable for material handling, machine tending, and multi-station operations where extended cobot reach is required.
The system uses a stepper motor drive and supports a maximum radial load of 500 N and axial load of 250 N.
Control is managed through software, with kinematics controllable via UR Cap.
This unit ships with a controller but does not include an energy chain.
Custom stroke lengths up to 3000 mm are available upon request for applications requiring greater linear travel distance.
