7th axis | EPSON VT6 robots

This igus seventh axis system extends the working envelope of EPSON VT6 robots by adding linear travel capability.

The unit enables workspace expansion up to 4 times the original robot reach, with available stroke lengths up to 3000 mm and custom strokes available on request.

The system delivers ±0.3 mm repeatability and travel speeds up to 0.3 m/s.

Kinematics are controlled through EPSON software, with control handled via software without integrated inverse kinematics.

This seventh axis is compatible with EPSON T3, T6, and VT6 robot models.

The system does not include an energy chain.

This 1000 mm length configuration ships without a controller.
